Because the iPad has a different resolution so the app has to be programmer for the iPhone. However, universal apps are the same code base with the different resolution and UI information for the appropriate device. So yes, any application can be ran on both devices with minimal changes required.

Again to get the real hourly wage divide $25 by 3, that is the true hourly rate which is $8.30. Reasonable I think not.
Generally the rule is the rule of 3 (this is how I quote, clients are happy and I don't undercut myself), times quotes by 3 and divide your hourly rate by this will give you the most accurate way of billing and ensuring you don't undercut yourself while the actual payment is never over the quoted amount (clients love this). It means it will allow you to reinvest in yourself with sick leave, holidays, new equipment and software.
So for a site mock up I would have quoted $675, while the actual billable would have come in around $375-$450.

The one on the right has already gone to print and the artist was very happy with the end result. The one on the left is near finished. I'm ashamed to say I charged the same low hourly figure for this work as well. What do you think this kind of work is worth; if I may ask? Thanks :)

I don't run script to enable it, i am enabling it manually from the preference pane in system preferences. It is because my dual G4 is always on and I don't have to turn it off. It is running as a server of my media files and my work station as well.

ok so my new 2010 MBP has been extremely slow and I was instructed to go into my disk utilities and to repair disk permissions and to verify them. I did so.

I was thinking that there would be a big Garmin APpe hook up in terms of getting GPS onto the iPhone/Touch, but that might come still at Macworld I guess. Hoping for it, as the Forerunner 405 plus a nano with the gps data would be a great training and exercise product line up.

dont bother with Tempest, I d/l'd for ipad 2 and the graphics are horrible. very dissapointing.
